This week's question has to do with the first upcoming teleseminar - "Everything You've Always Wanted to Know About Getting In-Kind Donations But Didn't Know Who to Ask." I received several emails from some of you asking if I was going to make recordings of the call and written transcripts available. In case you don't know what that is - it would mean that you could download the call into any mp3 player, burn a cd of it or listen to the call on your computer - any time you wanted. Or, if you had the transcript, you could read it on your computer or print it out - and read through it.
This could come in handy especially if you were going to ask for an In-Kind donation from someone for the first time - you could refer back to the call to find out what to say, who to approach, how much to ask for etc.
So, you decide: Here's what I can do - if you want me to:
I'll pay for the call to be recorded, edited and turned into a downloadable mp3 file. Which means that you can download it onto your computer, burn it to a cd or upload it into any mp3 player - and then listen to it whenever you want.
I'll also pay a transcriptionist to transcribe the entire thing - and put it into a pdf. document. That means you can download it onto your computer or print it out - and again, read through it anytime you have questions. From the bids I've received, it looks like I'm going to have to charge about $10 each.
To help you even more, I'll put together a complete workbook - with real examples of donation letters, worksheets and checklists to help you through the entire process of asking for In-Kind donations - and I'll give that to everyone who buys either the recording or the transcript - absolutely free. (And if enough people decide to buy either one or both, I'll be able to lower the price.)
Oh - and by the way, you can still attend the seminar without buying anything - I only checked into all this because some of you asked me about it! The thing is, I don't want to spend the money if you're not interested. So you choose. Just click on your answer below:
